Our Story
My name is Samantha Short. I am the granddaughter of Nana! As a second generation Italian-American, growing up I was taught the ins and outs of Italian cooking. Love is the best ingredient when cooking. I originally came to Oklahoma from Florida, attended paramedic school and was closer to Nana. After working in EMS for some years, I found my true calling. To bring the love and joy of Italian cuisine to you and your family. I have an amazing husband Jon and two boys. Patrick and Kollin, who you will see from time to time. This is a family business and I am teaching them the way I was taught. Because, "Everything Here's Like Nana Used To Make"!
Our bakers start work before the sun rises each day to ensure that every batch is as fresh as possible before it gets to you. The warm smell of baking often escapes onto the street before we've even opened. We're dedicated to following the original recipes from Nana, my Nonna and generations before. Taking the time to craft a mouthwatering experience every time you open our doors!

We work with local suppliers to source the freshest and most authentic ingredients and use old-fashioned techniques learned from Nana, to ensure the highest quality. When you come in you can taste our meats, produce, and other ingredients that are sourced from local farms to farmer's markets right here in Oklahoma! We import only the finest items from Italy, working directly with our international vendors weekly to give you the best!
